XL-W56

General Characteristics :

An improved chemistry of XL-W55 electrode for hard facings with high resistance to multiple forms of wear. Suitable for machine parts which are subject to both abrasive wear as well as impact load. Deposits are crack free.

Applications :

Earthmoving undercarriage parts, axles, crane wheels rims, clutches, slides and guidways, cams, shafts couplings rail crossing points gear wheels. Also suitable for Roller Press Roll hard layer welding for in situ repairs.

Mechanical Properties :

• Hardness of the weld metal : 56-58 Hrc
