RW-4160 SA

General Characteristics :

RW-4160 SA is a ﬂux cored wire for submerged arc welding using UV-NG ﬂux. It is developed specially for deposing weld metal on steel mill rolls. Due to high hardness it provides maximum resistance to thermal cracks and abrasion. The weld metal has good wear and thermal fatigue properties.

Applications :

The weld metal is suitable for weld cladding of various steel mill rolls. Especially recommended for back –up rolls, wrapper rolls, hot strip mill process rolls and pinch rolls etc.
