XL-CC16 B

General Characteristics :

XL-CC16 B is a thick coated electrode for high wear-resistant facings on structural and machine parts which are subject to abrasion. Due to the high carbon, chromium and other secondary alloys contentsthe resistance to wear and hardness are extremely high. Especially applicable for building-up corners and edges. The welding properties are equally good with DC and AC.

Applications :

It is suitable for Bucket teeth and shovel lips Grizzly bars Pulverizing and crushing pant Gravel handling machinery coal mining equipment, Screw conveyors, Roller Press Roll.

Mechanical Properties :

• Hardness : Hardness of the weld metal (as deposited) : 60 – 63 HRc.
