WR-CORD 430

General Characteristics :

WR-CORD 430 is a heavy coated, all position electrode specially designed for welding AISI 430 type stainless steels and steels of slightly lower or higher Chromium content. Welding with WR-CORD 430 electrodes usually requires suitable preheat and post heat treatment to obtain optimum physical properties of the weldment.

Applications :

WR-CORD 430 is used in oil burner parts, automobile exhausts, food industries and in the chemical industries.

Mechanical Properties :

• Tensile Strength : 500 – 550 N/mm²
• Elongation : 22 – 26 %
