Description :

XL-CC-870  is an iron based flux cored wire with exceptional abrasion and erosion wear resistance with high toughness.The microstructure is such that the matrix is hardly exposed to wear due to the presence of special nano carbides and thereby the matrix wash out is delayed considerably. Crystalline micro structure is engineered to sub micron (400 nm) size.

• XL-CC-870 provides exceptional wear resistance compare to most chrome carbides and complex carbide alloys.
• High resistance to abrasion while maintaining high toughness and maintain high hardness at high temperatures.
• Highest hardness : Gives uniquely 67-70 HRc with single pass weld deposit.
• It is multi component steel alloy with unique uniform melt chemistry which allows high undercooling to be achieved during welding resulting into a very unique undiluted micro structure.

Wear Resistance :

XL-CC-870 can provide maximum wear resistance of  nearer to 0.13gms mass loss in ASTM G65-04 abrasion test with single or subsequent weld layers.

Applications :

Crusher rolls, Lips, Dumpers, Sinter plant applications involving a combination of high temperature, heavy abrasion and impact.
