XL-C30

General Characteristics :

Electrode with special core wire for particularly ductile and crack resistant repair welding on grey and spheroidal cast iron. XL-C30 is highly suitable for joining on all malleable types of cast iron. The electrode has excellent welding properties and produces smooth seams without transverse under cuts. In spite of the high elongation, the weld deposit is crack resistant. Weldment is also having excellent machining properties.

Applications :

Machine tool bases and frames, Exhaust manifolds, Oil and grease sumps, Gear and bearing cases, Iron / steel construction and connections, Valve bodies etc.
