WR-CORD 7018

General Characteristics :

WR-CORD 7018 is a special coated electrode yielding high grade and crack resistant welds on hydrogen controlled steels. Welds are with radio-graphic quality and for construction subject to local stress accumulations.

Applications :

WR-CORD 7018 is suitable for bridges, power plants, blast furnace, heavy thick plates and steel work and boilers. Also suitable for pipeline, pressure vessels, Horton spheres, earth moving equipment and heavy welded fabrication as replacement for casting, penstocks and restrained joints.

Mechanical Properties :

• Tensile Strength : upto 530 N/mm²
• Yield Strength    : upto 420 N/mm²
• Elongation : approx. 23%
