XL-LLH

General Characteristics :

XL-LLH is a Outstanding crack resistance at normal and sub-zero temperatures. Can be welded in any position (except vertical down) weld deposit can be flame cut. XL-LLH is an excellent “compromise” in some instances when high alloy electrodes cannot be justified.

Applications :

For welding of high strength steels as used for earth moving and construction equipment. Also for quenched and tempered fine grained construction steels. For free machining steels and structural steel fabrication of “I” & “H” beams, angles, channel iron, pipelines, and for circular tube to plate welds. Excellent for steels that are sensitive to craking such as NAXTRA 63, NAXTRA 70, Hy 80, Hy 95, Hy 100, Hy 900, 80 HLES, USS T1 and cast steel etc. use for earth moving equipment, ship building where low alloy and carbon steels are used, pressure vessels work, boiler and ship plates, pipe flanges, tanks, rails, crane booms, bridges, offshore structure etc.

Advantages :
  • For more impact value and corrosion resistant.
  • High ductile and crack resistant weld deposit with low hydrogen content.
  • Good weldability in all positions except vertical down.
  • Excellent mechanical Properties at low temperature.
  • Weld deposit has good corrosion resistant to sea water and sulphuric acid fumes.
