XL-SS 22X

General Characteristics :

XL-SS 22X is an extra low carbon 18/14/Mo Stainless steel medium coated electrode giving a fully austenitic stainless steel weld deposit having exceptionally good corrosion resistance. The deposit can be used at high temperature without loss of strength. Gives least spatter, soft and steady arc and the slag peels off automatically leaving bead having uniform ripples.

Applications :

Pickling tanks, pumps and pipe systems, Dairy vessels and pipe work, Drug and foot equipment, acid containing vessels and pipe systems.

• Tensile Strength : 560-660 N/mm²
• Elongation : 30-40 %
