WR-CORD 318

General Characteristics :

WR-CORD 318 is a low Carbon 18/13/Mo/Nb stabilized electrode with controlled ferrite content of 4-8%. The Nb content provides  resistance to inter-granular corrosion. WR-CORD 318 has excellent arc stability and very low spatter loss. The slag is easily controlled and does not interfere with the arc. The weld metal has excellent creep strength and is of radiographic quality.

Applications :

WR-CORD 318 is widely used in the dying equipments, paper mill equipment, pickling plant, bleaching equipment, bakery equipment, chemical plants handling Sulphuric, Sulphurous, Citric and Hydrochloric acid etc.

• Tensile Strength : 560 – 660 N/mm²
• Elongation : 30 – 40 %
