XL-SSD

General Characteristics :

XL – SSD is a Rutile based electrode. It has good weldability on AC and DC. It has very good crack and stress corrosion resistance due to high Ferrite content. Also it has excellent resistance to pitting and seawater corrosion due to high Cr and Mo content. The deposit is Duplex Stainless steel.

Applications :

It is Ideal for welding of Duplex stainless steel such as UNS S 31803 (DIN No. 4462) and for piping in gas or oil offshore extraction. Also it can be used for grades 1.4417, 1.4462, 1.4460, 1.4463, 1.4582.

Mechanical Properties :

• Tensile Strength : upto 750 N/mm²
• Yield Strength : upto 600 N/mm²
• Elongation Approx : 25%
