XL-CC62

General Characteristics

XL – CC62 is a thick coated electrode for high wear-resistant hard facings on structural and machine parts which are subjected to high stress abrasion. Due to presence of high percentage of complex carbides, wear resistance is very high. The welding properties are equally good with DC and AC currents. Due to presence of special elements. Matrix wear resistance is specially improved.

Applications

It is suitable for bucket teeth, shovel lips, grizzly bars, pulverizing and crushing plant, gravel handling machinery, coal mining equipment, screw conveyors, slag, coal and other vertical mill overlays. Also suitable for parts subjected to erosive wear due to borides in the matrix which delays the matrix wear out.
