General characteristics

XL-CC-705 OA is high hardness multi carbide hardfacing alloy that provides the ultimate of abrasion resistance. It maintains its hardness and wear resistance at higher temperatures. The deposit is upto 50% Tungsten carbide + 10% Chromium Carbides in Iron matrix. The wire produces smooth welds with good buildup. Excellent arc action, noslag, nospatter, noporosity and high deposition rates are characteristics of this alloy deposit.
