INTRODUCTION

ULTRA PRIMER is a two-component cycloaliphatic amine cured high solid epoxy coating, especially designed to improve the anti-corrosive properties of coating and to extend the life of protective coating. It can be used as intermediate as well as coating to suit tropical environments.

CHARACTERISTICS

ULTRA PRIMER- having a special ingredient as the main corrosion inhibitive pigment. These lamellar particles align parallel to the substrate surface,producing a shield or barrier of overlapping plates. This alignment enhances protection by providing –

• Barrier protection
• Film Strength.
• Increased intercoat adhesion
• Reduced erosion rates.
• Extended life of protective coating
• Increased mechanical & chemical properties

APPLICATION DETAILS:

Stir the base thoroughly and mix with hardener in recommended proportions to a homogeneous mixture. Allow the mixture to mature for approx. 30 minutes and stir again before and during application.

• BRUSH: Apply without thinning.
• AIRLESS SPRAY: Apply without thinning. Maximum of 5% thinning with thinner ET 1 is recommended if it’s absolutely essential. Use standard equipment having pump ratio of 40:1, Tip size 0.48 – 0.53 mm, and Tip pressure 140 – 165 kg/cm2
