X’TRACRETE ceramic composite is a generic for cementitious wear protection materials. These are based on inorganic materials of high strength and good excellent wear resistance. The pores between the cement portions are filled by the addition of super fine particles of ceramic additives and micro silica.

X’TRACRETE reaches high compressive strength after 8-9 hours and consists of following :

• Hard aggregate materials (Alumina, Bauxite, Corundum or Silicon Carbide)
• Cement binder
• Micro Silica

X’TRACRETE structural strength is further enhanced by adding a portion of steel fibres. The specification of steel fibres are changed depending upon applications and the extremity of temperature chemical attack and corrosion involved. For chemical resistance, X’TRACRETE is suitable for normal environment but not to resist acids.
