XPL-4500 FGD

General Description :

XPL-4500 FGD is a high functionally, 100% solids novolac material, designed for concentrated sulfuric acid and other inorganic acid service. It also to resists corrosion and erosion from sulphurous and Nox gases carrying abrasive dust particles, particularly at elevated temperature.

Chemical Description :

Multi-functional epoxy, with a uniquely modified cycloaliphatic amine hardener.

Applications :

Used extensively for lining ducts, stacks, bag filter housings, waste incinerators etc.
Specially suitable for process plants burning bad fuels lignite base power plants, flue gas desulphonation plants, gas scrubbers etc in non-ferrous refineries.
It is particularly useful for resisting corrosion at elevated temperatures upto 225 deg C for regular service and upto 275 deg C for excursions.
