XPL-2731

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

XPL-2731 is a trowelable, 100% solids lining with excellent chemical resistance. It’s having excellent adhesion to metal, wood and concrete surfaces. It is a superior product for tank linings because of its good all around chemical resistance, outstanding abrasion resistance, as well as unparalled resistance to mechanical damage. It can be applied up to a thickness of 250 mils in a single coat @ 21°C. It is best applied using an airless grout pump (bazooka). Suitable for use for food contact, following FDA guide lines.

Force Curing

Force cures are recommended for severe service conditions as both physical and chemical properties are enhanced. Force curing should not start until material has firmly set. Contact for specific instructions.

Handling/Safety

Warning! Eye and skin irritant. May cause dermatitis and sensitization. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor, mist or spray. Use with good ventilation.

First Aid

In case of contact:

Eyes: Immediately flush with water for at least 15 minutes.
Skin: Immediately remove from skin with dry cloth followed by thorough washing with soap and water.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
Ingestion: Give large quantity of milk or water, induce vomiting. Contact a physician immediately.

Storage

Store all product in a clean, warm area where the temperature remains between 60-90 F (15-30 0 0C). Cold products are very viscous and will be difficult to mix and apply. Products shipped during cold months can remain cold for many days even when stored as recommended. Paste or trowel applied products will remain cold longer than liquid or spray applied products. Heating of the individual components may be required to bring the products to the recommended temperatures.

All products are formulated and tested for long term effectiveness in a variety of environments. The information listed is a compilation of over fifteen years of laboratory tests, material supplier data, field installations and technical publications. Because the only true reliable test is one that is in actual operation, no warranties either expressed or implied as to the performance of these products is given.
