General Characteristics

Lime coated electrode for hard facings on machine parts which are subjected to high frictional wear. It is also suitable for repairs on damaged cold cutting tools and protective lining with surfacing on austenitic manganese steel. In spite of its hardness, welding material is tough and not susceptible to impact loads. In the natural state the workability of weld is limited to grinding. The electrode is specially recommended for all positional weld overlays for in-situ applications.

Applications

Crushing heads and rings, cams and rammers, rollers, conveyor and earth boring screws, impact strips, mixer parts, dredger teeth, earth and mineral moving equipments.
