XL-W52

General Characteristics

XL – W52 is a basic coated special electrode for hard surfacing. Suitable for hard surfacing carbon or manganese steel parts subjected to metal-to-metal wear or to abrasion and impact at temperature up to 600oC. Buttering or reclamation of worn parts is possible. Deposits are crack free and machinable with carbide tipped tools.

Applications

Hammers, bucket teeth, armour plates, seat of blast furnace bells.
