General Characteristics

XL – SS28 is a medium coated all positional electrode. It has smooth arc, medium penetration and hardly any spatters. Easy slag removal and shiny uniform weld beads is the uniqueness of this product. It gives 20/25/5 Mo deposit which gives excellent corrosion resistance and heat resistance up to 12000C

Applications

It is ideal for welding HV-9 stainless steel and related alloys for high temperature applications like found in chemical plants, aircraft turbine etc.
