Nickel and Cobalt based electrode used for overlaying and protection of components operating at high temperatures. The strength of the weld material at 800°C is approx. 10 times that of mild steel. Suitable for metal to metal wear excellent resistance to thermal shock corrosion & acids. Deposit will work harden to
approx 400 HB. Used where subsequent machining must be done without heat treatment.
Repair for piercing mandrels, air rammer tip piercing punches hot trimming dies un setter dies, hot working tools, hot shear blades, extrusion dies, rolling mill guide, ingot tongue ends, rolling mills rolls, lime kiln burner parts, press tools punches bleeder valve seats forging die blocks nail head die, cylinder draw rings, traightening and shear of die bearings and journals, sizing punch, wire drawings capstans, etc.
