XL-CTCI

General Characteristics

XL-CTCI tubular electrode is made with special flux having no barium compounds. The weld deposit has high tensile strength & elongation compared to equivalent solid core electrode. It has low co-efficient of thermal expansion , offers sound weld metal & good bonding on cast iron in cold condition. 

Applications

Specially suitable for SG, malleable cast iron, ideal for joining casting with steel & also surfacing, repair machine frames, bases, pump bodies, engine blocks, bearing blocks, gears and pulleys, foundry defects and transmission housing etc.
