General characteristics

XL-CP-55 OA gives non machinable weld deposit having good abrasive and impact resistance. Preheating is necessary to avoid cracking. It can be used as an economic alternative to Chrome carbide wires.

Applications

It is particularly suitable for conditions of medium abrasion but will withstand a reasonable amount of impact damage . Used to overlay— Earth Moving Equipment, Bucket Teeth, Scraper Blades, Ploughshares, Dredgers, Chutes, cutting edges etc.
