XL-CC60

General Characteristics

XL-CC60 is a super heavy coated electrode for hard facing application on mild steel, carbon steel and low alloy steel where resistance to severe abrasion is necessary. It has a very quiet and stable arc. The weld deposit retains hardness at relatively high temperatures. Use only one or two layers to avoid cracking. Net deposition efficiency: 130% approx.

Applications

Ideal for applications where abrasive wear conditions exist as in the ceramic industry, plough shares, cultivator shovels, coke chutes, sand blasting equipment, earthmoving equipment and mining equipment .
