General Characteristics

XL-CC-5248 OA is a semi-automatic wire producing a high Chromium carbide deposit. It provides the finest possible combination of high resistance to erosion, good abrasion resistance at elevated temperatures, high deposition rate and sound buildup. Minimum slag formation and ease of handling are prominent characteristics that especially appeal to the welder. Excellent single layer hardness on manganese steel is the best proof. Specially suitable for build up on vertical mill internals specially with Nihard,SG iron or Hichrome base metal.

Applications

Catalyst handling units, Pug mill roll guides, Crushing application, Cement/power station VRM internals and Steel mill roll guides.
