High strength nickel-iron type electrode for cold welding of cast-iron and cast iron to steel. Special type of core wire (bimetallic) provides better electrical conductivity. Therefore no overheating electrode and minimizing stub loss. Good machinability high crack resistance, good color match on cast iron. Excellent wetting properties even on old cast-iron.
Recommended for welding of large castings, filling up of defects in castings. May also be used on SG-iron, mechanite, malleable iron and nodular cast. For welding at machine frames pump housing, engine locks, gear boxes, manifolds, cast iron rollers (sugar, steel mills) ornamental iron fabrication cast iron pipes, Motor cylinder blocks, cylinder houses pump housing. Electric motor cases and frames. Gear teeth.
