XL-BC

General Characteristics

XL-BC is a heavy coated hydrogen controlled electrode, specially designed for welding of ferritic martensitic chrome steel. The weld deposit which contain approx 13% Cr is air hardenable. Hardening can be avoided through pre heating and stress relieving. Easy to operate in all positions. Gives least spatter. Slag easy to detach.

Applications

It is suitable for joining heavy section of steel armature, repair welding of similar corrosion resistance chrome steels and steel castings. For low prices stainless steel cutlery, pump parts, oil refinery equipments, coal washers etc. For general corrosion and heat resisting application.
