General Characteristics

DF-5180 has been developed especially for the forging industries to buildup the cutting edges of trimming dies. It is low heat, high alloyed. It is crack free wear resist weld deposit and can be machinable with a cement carbide tip tool.

Applications

It is mostly useful on hot shear, blade slides, press casting dies, heading and trimming dies, forging saddles, hot cutting dies and etc.
