C) ABRASION ALLOYS 
 
iii) COMPLEX CARBIDE ALLOYS :

1) XL-CC 403B OA :
XL-CC 403B OA is open arc flux cored wire with high C-, Cr-, Nb & B. Weld deposit form Niobium-Boron & Chromium carbides with high hardness. This combination results in high abrasion resistance.



2) XL-CC-403 OA :
XL-CC-403 OA is a complex Chromium carbide deposit with high stress grinding abrasion resistance up to 550OC.The deposits will readily show stress relief cracks. The presence of Niobium Carbides adds to the impact and erosion resistance of the alloy.



3) XL-CC-405 OA :
XL-CC-405 OA Highly alloyed Chromium-Niobium-Molybdenum alloy with addition of Tungsten & Vanadium designed to resist high stress grinding abrasion with low impact and solid erosion upto 750°C.Ideal for surfacing of mild, low alloy Steels and stainless steels.



4) XL-CC-407 OA :
XL-CC-407 OA is open arc flux cored wire with high C,Cr-,V - alloyed flux-cored wire for extreme abrasive wear even at elevated temperatures. The fine grain structure of the weld deposit prevents a washout of the matrix and therefore the deposit has an extreme high scratch hardness.



5) XL-CC 408 OA :
XL-CC 408 OA is open arc flux cored wire with Very high C-, Cr-, B-alloyed flux-cored wire for extreme hard and non-corrosive hardfacing against very high mineral wear at high temperatures. The weld deposit has a ledeburitic structure, bearing many various hypereutectic carbides. A maximum deposit thickness of 6 mm (1-2 layers) is recommended.
